A little kindness changes lives

article image placeholderUploaded by @brianrking
It can instill someone with hope, show them they matter, aren't alone, and don't need to earn respect for their dignity. When things were toughest, I remember those acts of kindness insisting that if there were some people like that, there definitely had to be others. So I look for kindness in others and encourage it. I see opportunities to extend kindness and offer it. It isn't about showing kindness to prove how kind you are

Celebrating the special people who see you , and support you when you feel invisible.

And I think of them often all the time. I think of them all the time, and it's huge. And I think it's simple. If we can just keep that energy going as much as we can I don't know. It's life affirming. I think it's what you said, if there's one person like this, there must be more. I try to think about that and remember that

Thank you so much, Ro, for taking the time to not only listen to it, but to respond so kindly. Yeah. One of my favorite sayings to use with my clients and my boys is that kindness is a choice. It's not something that other people need to earn from you. It's something that you bring into the world because you want to leave the world a little better off. And you don't need to do anything epic to accomplish that, as you know
