And I started picking up my pace. She heard footsteps from behind and somebody following her and calling out to her. I don't know what happened. She picked up her pace and she started running. I don't know what happened to me. As a reflex reaction, I started running behind her. And she was running and I was running behind her and asking, hello, we just need some directions. And she wouldn't look. She looked behind. She yelled as if it fell

We all love to travel and some are adventurous in nature while some get adventurous accidentally:) let us share our most bizarre incidents out here!

So just to continue the previous story and I wanted to ask that whole incident brought away the thought to my head and I just wanted to ask all the Swell team do women actually feel safe while traveling alone? And I know the world is a better place and the world is much more safer now but things have happening and that fear is still there somewhere at a subconscious level. How many women they still have the fear of traveling alone?

Even in a crowded place, it doesn't always take a deserted road or walking alone very late at night to encounter something weird or encounter something that you wouldn't want to encounter that makes your anxiety kick in. Because we do face such situations, almost every woman I know has faced something or the other. May that be in a public transport while walking home late at night on a deserted road. So yeah, just like you, I would also like to reach the question are women really safe?

I'm not sure how many. I mean, I hear these stories and I feel like, oh my God, what is happening in this country? What is happening in the world? And the rape cases or someone is just burning the girl alive or so many stories like that, that is such a negativity in the mind. And I know it was a funny incident but somehow I think that I have a perspective

And like you said, that if you see a man late at night on the streets and you are having to be outside at that time for whatever reason, you pretend to get on a call. You pretend to talk to someone else so that someone else out there on the street does not approach you, which I think a lot of people will relate to. A lot of women will relate to. Because I think we have all done that at some point of time because we felt terribly unsafe

And sometimes I love traveling alone because that's me time, right? And fresh is me time for me. So I listen to music, read, or just observe people. I love doing that. So thank you for this post and look forward to many more from you. Thank you
