CFP Rankings

article image placeholderUploaded by @bradypoppler
The College football rankings came out November 23. It's November 25. Let's take a look at it real quick. We got some changes in the top four, with Ohio State coming in at two, Alabama moving to three and the first the non power five team ever making in the top four of the College Football playoff rankings. Cincinnati is number four. Like we've talked about Georgia's been number one the whole year. They're still at number one

And what we come to find out is going undefeated wasn't good enough. The committee wanted to see wins by greater points. They wanted to see complete dominance of a team, and they had to have things fall apart of them in front of them twice now and potentially three times. Because if Oklahoma State would happen to beat Oklahoma and then win the Big Twelve Championship, they have a chance to leapfrog them. They really do. And we'll see what happens from here

Who has the best win? @bradypoppler, @mitchyro99, @tonymo

Well, I went through most of the contenders here and tried to pick out what's their best win. Who do they have on their schedule that you can say that's a great win and did that exercise and was kind of surprised by what I was finding because the SEC is kind of top heavy this year. There's not a lot of great teams in the SEC other than Alabama and Georgia. And you look at those two teams. Georgia's best win is either Arkansas or Clemson

I don't think Notre Dame is a particularly good football team when you put them up against the upper echelon. I think that they're good at taking care of business and good for them. They're having a good season. But in terms of the best teams in the country, that's my only gripe about these rankings. That being said, this is all going to work itself out more than likely. Cincinnati obviously is finally in a spot where they may be able to control their own destiny

Philly make a really good point with Cincinnati, as they do probably have the best one of the season. And I guess you can argue that Georgia, but Georgia just they win very convincingly, just they can run the ball, they can stop around. So there's no doubt that Georgia is number one team. And the way that you said that kind of makes it sound like Cincinnati should be in the top four, which the committee got right when it comes
