How to Find Inner Peace

article image placeholderUploaded by @bradwcarlson
And of course the question becomes, well, how do we find that? If it's so easy, why doesn't everybody have inner peace? And why are so many people searching for inner peace? And why do so many people seem not to be able to get to that inner peace? If you ask anybody what's one thing they want more than anything in the world? If you ask you want a million dollars or inner peace?

This episode is about confronting your inner fears, self doubts, insecurities and limiting beliefs to have the inner peace you desire.

But even today I was having a moment of anxiety about a lot of things that are causing a lot of uncertainty in my life and worries I have. And it is such a radically different experience in this moment of my life to be able to observe those fears, to think about any actionable, things I really can do about them right now, and then just to accept them and kind of observe them slowly fade away

Hey, Brad. Welcome to Swell the inner peace conversation. It is age old and unfortunately I feel like modern times is making it slightly more difficult to go inward because there are so many distractions, right? I mean, you kind of led to it in your initial post about how many people can renounce their life and find inner peace that way. The stillness

Peace is not necessarily when we remove ourselves from society because, yeah, it's easy to have peace when we're away from the hustle and bustle and noise of everyday society, but peace is being able to maintain that in the midst of all of that. I remember a mentor told me that one. So anyway, some great thoughts, some great insights. So thanks so much for sharing, appreciate it. And yeah, catch up soon. Thanks, bye

And the anxiety, oh, my gosh. Yeah, I've dealt with lots and lots of anxiety, but again, kudos to you for learning to control it. And, yeah, I'm a big believer that anxiety, things like that can be controlled without medication and things like that, it can be told. This is just me with our thoughts, our mind, our behaviors, our beliefs going within. I've certainly had to work on my anxiety

I wanted to say that I really enjoy the theme in your work where you explain that it's not that people can't visualize or can't meditate or can't become peaceful. I think one of the big themes that I've noticed throughout your replies is that people are out of practice. And I really love how you emphasize the need to practice these things and the need to kind of get back on your feet and do certain things that maybe came naturally when you were younger
