Howdy, y'all. As some of you already know, I am obsessed with the west and have become even more so after moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I have been working on my first little house, a bungalow that I call the Rainbow Cowboy. I was searching on Etsy late one night for some Western art when I discovered my now very favorite shop called Wild Kind Prints

First, I want to start out by calling attention to how beautiful your prints look in my bedroom, included in the photo here with this. Swell. I love them so much. They make me so happy every time I go into my room. So thank you so much. I'd love to start out by talking a bit about how you got started as an artist. Did you study art or was it a hobby that eventually ended up taking a lot more space and time?

For all the illustrators and artists out there. I'd love if you're able to share a little bit about your process in creating a piece. Are there specific programs that you use and how do you go about the distribution process? Is that something you already had experience with, or did you have to just learn as you went along after launching your shop? And do you have any tips around all of that for those who maybe want to get started with their own illustration and art business?

One of my very favorite things to talk to other artists and creators about is failure, because it seems to be such an inevitable and important and sometimes transformational part of any process. I'm curious if failure has played any role in your journey as an artist so far, and if there's anything you'd like to share or anything you've learned from those failures along the way
