Your latest novel centers on Brin, a 15 year old who is fixated on death and experiencing intrusive thoughts and severe anxiety that leave her feeling really hopeless another experience I can also relate to. I love how you write about and tackle mental health issues in your work and how open you also are about your own experiences, is, and boundaries around mental health in your own life

I absolutely love their relationship, just generally, and I'm curious if you could speak to how community and relationships have influenced or supported throughout your own perceived failures or moments of growth throughout your own experience as a writer. Definitely, and maybe as a human being more generally as well
