Sunday Night Warriors or Worriers

article image placeholderUploaded by @BohoBabe
Ah, Sunday night. The Dr. Jekyll to Saturday's Mr. Hyde. It creeps in like a ninja, stealing the last shreds of your weekend freedom. You look at the clock, and suddenly it's like time is on. Fast forward, and Monday is the surprise guest crashing the weekend party. You find yourself in a standoff with your TV remote, hoping it holds the secret to stretching weekends. Spoiler alert, it does not

You. Hi, Boho. Well, to answer your question, I am bit of a warrior. I'm not gonna lie because I don't like routine and I cannot do without it either, you know. So I have a love hate relationship with routine. And every Monday is a reminder of that monotony, that monotonous routine that we all are involved and engrossed in, whether we like it or not. But it is the truth of our lives, unfortunately

Definitely a warrior. Sunday night. Sunday morning was fine. I did all my chores, did whatever was needed. In the evening, I went to the gym thinking, okay, I'm going to hit some good cardio, do this, do that. Did a good, excellent workout, to be honest. Reached home and I saw two options right in front of me. That one was nice. A nice protein smoothie which would have eventually made me a warrior. But I chose the bourbon

Again, evening I'd be traveling 3 hours, almost two and a half hours every day. So not because of the work or not because of workplace and all, it's because of the travel that I feel Saturday and Sunday are so soothing than any other days. Because Saturday, Sunday, I get lots and lots of time to explore my interest, to work on what I love the most, to do something for myself

You. Wow. I'd love me two weekends, too. Perhaps one midweek just to break the monotony and one at the end of the week. That sounds like a plan. In fact, at some point, you know, folk should institute this and just put us out of our misery. A long working week is tedious, but cheers. That sounds great

I mean, it can get to be a bit of a drag otherwise. Yeah. But you have a good one at school. I believe you're a teacher, so have a great day and a week

Hello. Hello. You have completely mirrored the thoughts and the feelings in my heart. I dread routine, but I embrace it as well. It's such a dichotomy. Every day I, I yearn for routine because I know that is something that reassures me. And like you rightly said, productivity. If can't have ticked so many things off my checklist every day, it makes me a little, I feel very unsettled. So I need routine for that

Hey, Gaurav. Oh, my gosh, you've had quite the weekend. But, wow, that is something I crave to do. But I'm just too anal retentive, I think, with my OCD. So I rarely let go because I know I will pay the price the next morning. So, yes, Friday night and a Saturday are meant for fun. As far as I'm concerned, Sundays is just sort of leading up to what the next day brings in

You. Hi there. I know the wait to catch up and do those things on those two days of the weekend so precious and one really looks forward to it. But it can also get so hectic

Same pinch. Same pinch. And I am so relieved to know that I am not alone and you are on the same boat as me because I thought that I share this weird relationship with weekends and Mondays and I am the only one. But your reply brought a lot of stories to me that I am not the only one. And you also feel the same way. It. I completely understand what you mean. I mean, yes, it is the Sunday evenings. Those are dreadful
