Lost notes series: Speechless

Like, I know what I meant when I put these words on paper, but maybe you see something different that I don't see. And some of these poems are so old that I don't remember exactly what I was thinking. So other people's interpretation are actually reminding me, like, oh yeah, that was what I was thinking, or that wasn't what I was thinking. I'm going to just work on sharing more and just engaging with people. Thank you for reading well

It also happens when I write some people… #poetry #rant #words #artissubjective

So I've heard it said that once you put your poetry out there for the world to see, that it becomes the audiences. It belongs to them now. And I kind of believe that because everybody does interpret your words based on, like, their own framework and their own life, and it's really interesting to see the different ways that people interpret your words. With that being said, I really love the last line of that poem about why rebuild a bridge?

But for the poetry that I write, I don't provide context. I usually provide context when I'm sharing someone else's poetry, like what I liked about it or what it makes me think of, or things like that. Right. Like kind of doing a little bit of a poetic analysis. But yeah, it's common, too, when you are I'm guessing if you have a bit more of an introverted disposition, the way you use words may be different

I'm not sure I definitely listen to some of your responses. So I will go and listen to some of your poetry and make some comments and just thank you so much again and I appreciate your words. Happy Sunday
