Origins of Black History Month: Carter G. Woodson 1915

article image placeholderUploaded by @blairbearing
Hello. I'm gonna try to make this as brief as possible. It's also 522 in the morning. And truthfully, this is part of the reason why I'm taking out my stomach. I've taken a little hiatus from IG right now. It is officially the second day now of black history month. For those of you who don't know, I am unapologetically black. I was raised by my black father. I have a white mother. I'm a us history major

Hey, Blair, it's Jl. I think I found the post that you're referencing. Now. I want to say you're right. The black experience is every day. I agree with that. Not necessarily that you're right. Let me just say you agree. I agree because it's not about being right or wrong

And I like to add personal antidotes because I don't want there to be any gray area. I want people like, I speak clearly. Well, I don't always speak clearly. Sometimes I do speak kind of cryptically, but I do the backstory because maybe because I do speak a little cryptically and I want them to know where I'm coming from. It's the historian in me. This is like my historical writing, my historiography live
