My mind is littered with scrap paper. See? I write everywhere, even in my imagination. Voice memos, post it, the notes app on my phone. I cover everything in my life with words. Yet the only rooms my words have ever been recited in are private ones. Thank you for listening

My mind is littered with scrap paper. Wow. That line resonates with me because I swear, everything in my life is littered with scrap paper. There is not a moment that goes by that I'm not writing, whether it's actually physically with pen to paper or thought processes or imaginings dreams. Even in my sleep, I'm writing. I'll wake up from sleeping with a line in my mind and say, I have to put that down because that's going to be a poem someday
