When they stop shouting your name

A lot of these 80s wrestlers were really big. Eighty S. Ninety S. Well, anyway, during this event, he knocks down the other guy after an argument, and he does one of his famous moves. And the crowd loved it. It's very choreographed. He's done the same move for now, 40 years, it seems. And the one thing I noticed is he's a 50 something year old man. Is the man in shape? Yeah, he's an adonis

It's like, why can't life just go on? Why is there such a lust for that level of fame and attention? I think a lot of people just fear slipping into a place of anonymity. And people want to feel seen, they want to feel heard, they want to feel like they matter that they have a place in this world. And so it's tough if you've experienced that level of success where you were a household name at one time to go back to being normal again

And sometimes people will say things like, oh, there's Angela, she's the author. And I'm like, Dude, it's a book. It's important to me, don't get me wrong, but it's self published. I'm not on the New York Times Bestseller list. Like, just calm down, right? So when that kind of stuff happens, it is pretty sad

And then, of course, he had that connection within the wrestling world, and that was the route that he took. And after wrestling, he naturally made that transition into Hollywood. And so I think from a very young age, he was somebody that needed a stage or that wanted to be on a stage and wanted to be seen. And he's somebody that we like to look at, especially women

And this is when the WWF before they lost the rights to that name because it's also the same for the World Wildlife Federation. Your useless trivia for the day. This is when they decided to introduce Hulk Hogan to the world. Hulk Hogan came in and beat the Iron Sheik using his own move. And I remember that. And yeah, Hulk Hogan's done some pretty crappy things as a human being. But as the face of wrestling for good 20 years, no one was better
