Hi. I hope you are great. So there are a lot of challenges that I wanted to write something. But as you know, I am not a professional author. I am a magician. I do magic for living. I perform for corporate events. I do shows all over the country. So it was a little bit hard where to start and should I reveal my magic tricks or what should I write? I knew I wanted to showcase my life because magic has actually changed my life

Hello. All right, so while you were answering me, this just line popped in my mind that magicians are perhaps the only people who can claim that their life is magical. So at what point did you decide to publish your book? And with a busy schedule, how did you make time to pen it?
Rajesh kumar

I never cried in my life. I'd never say sobby stories. But he said, no, this is not sobby story. This is inspiring story. People will get inspired from it. I see a lot of people, they give excuses that they can't do this, they can't do this. Why don't you write something that people get inspired? And I thought of, yes, why not? Why not write something?

So my life, my situation, my journey when I started was very different. I come from a very small village in Bhagalpur in Bihar. That even reaching my house is a tough job even now. I would take flight, then train, then bus, and this that. It's a tough journey. And I cannot imagine whenever I sit sometime and whenever I am at a very nice place performing magic. And when I see that my life has changed, like 360 degree

That is so true. That is absolutely true. Rajesh so, while doing shows around the world, what's that one factor that you've seen most common in your audience that does the magic for you? That's encouraging for

So when you are child, child doesn't know anything. They are like okay, everything is for a child, everything is magic. So everything is a surprise they are trying to explore. So when you do a magic for someone on their face, they have that same like how cassette and any country you perform for any kind of people they will have the same innocent smile and that gives you a good encouragement. That's the number one that keeps me going

Hello. The writing journey was magical itself. You know, once I decided to write a book, so I started writing it, and then I was relieving my journey, you know, so I was remembering how my childhood was, and luckily, I was able to go to my village, and then I started remembering all the moment that I spent in my village

Rajesh kumar

Even for a small magic, it takes a lot to do it. Forget about the art. Even if you take it as a trick where you just do something, it takes a lot. And then comes a part where you make that trick into an art. What people don't understand is that trick and art, which I call magic, to present a trick in an artistic way is totally different thing. So people don't realize that what goes around magic

Okay. So what was the first reaction of your friends and family when you told them about the book and what has been the most toughest criticism that you've received so far?
Rajesh kumar
@rajeshmagic · 3:48
Few event manager came to know that I was doing it and they thought that I will write bad about them. So people who have done wrong to you when you write something like this, then they realize that they will be picturized as a villain in the book. But no, I think I never realized that someone has done a bad to me. I always take everything in a very positive way. So yeah, I think the mother part was was my mother reaction was very critical

So that's the one thing that people don't realize and that's the beauty of magic and that's the secret to magic
