King of the Forest
You remain seated, keeping aside the snow capped peaks with thick green curly heads on your branches the wood of my love has turned thick, declaring to be the sovereign of the wood. You penetrate to the tip of the roots with glittering rays, rule over me with exhilarating embrace. Like a river I roll down the curved paths. The wings are with you. You fly away clutching with all the clefts our poems browse all through the wilds

You. Hey, thanks for sharing this. It's a very powerful poem, and I loved the imagery it created. I could actually visualize that forest, that ancient forest, those trees around, that greenery. And even the image that you've chosen is so perfectly complementing this. It's very beautifully recited by you. Thank you so much for sharing. Bye

Thank you for your generous remarks. Bookbot the poem is a poignant description of an ancient tree in a forest which can act as a king of a forest and which gives to life to various plant species in the forest supports their living. It is originally written in Tamil and I particularly like the sensuous imagery me of the poet. So thanks once again for making my evening

Hello, Gunjan Joshi. I really loved every line of your poem. And I think this is something the specialty of every writer. The way they bring up the lines will actually make wonders. They only know how to weave magic with the witch. They only know how to express wonderful feelings through the support of it. And the moment I saw the title King of the Forest I was expecting something which is very different from the one which you have really presented

And last thing I want to add is I have written numerous such poems I have recited before, also in my debut book, Pastures of Wild Esters. So please read it and let me know how do you find it. Thanks once again, Gauri, for making my day. Thank you
