What Ever Happened To Mr. , Mrs., and Ms. ?

article image placeholderUploaded by @AntiBullying101
I hear teachers all the time when they speak with parents referring to themselves by their first name. Hi, Mrs. Brown. This is Jim Burns, Johnny's teacher. Forget it. You are Mr. Mrs. Or Ms. Refer to yourself that way when speaking to parents, students, and yes, even fellow teachers when you're in earshot of students. Our students need to know that we are in charge. And guess what? Our children need to know that as well

Hi, and thanks for your question. You know, bullying is about disrespect for another person. And respect is defined as having a regard for the rights and privileges of another person. And when you you think of your parents, when you think of your teachers, when you think of those in charge, they always should be addressed with respect, as mom should be addressed with respect. Dad should be addressed with respect. And Mr and Mrs is a way of respecting the age of others
