Because, you see, the way I look at it is if I had valued me and had real, real values about what I need, what I want, what I will not accept, I would have never dated some of those people or even married, possibly my second husband. To be honest, it was me. I can't blame them. You see, people are who they are before they come into your life. Especially if they're over the age of an adult

When we continue to make those same choices, then life provides us with, hey, another opportunity to change that. And when we don't, then here we are again faced with the same individual. So now I have to take a stance and realize, maybe I need to make a better choice and walk away from this, because life shows us what we want to see as a lesson
