I think it's really neat that you can just go off the coast and go diving at Channel Islands National park as a student at UCSB, as well as doing research on all the different creatures that live in the ocean beside us, I think the Marine Science Institute at UCSB is especially cool. It's one of the only places in the world where they have seawater pumped into the labs in the building, which is really neat

Oh, it sounds so lovely. It was my dream when I was a kid to go to school in California, and I never did make it out there because it was really far from my home in Madrid. But I live vicariously through these stories. It's so lovely. And that mix of nature, the proximity to nature, it sounds like a beautiful way to spend those college years. So, yeah.
