So it was in that moment that it came full circle for me that, wow, this is really how life happens. And parents need the opportunity to rejuvenate and recuperate and reveal so that they can come back and get some perspective, so they can do it in a way that is much more effective and efficient. You'll miss the entire fullness of the story, right, because you're so wrapped up in the details and the how and why, what if and all those other things. So I want to challenge you to have an open mind as you're healing and working through so that you do not miss your moment when life provides you with that perspective

But I believe it was God giving me a perspective at that time as a child that then would land me as an adult to see his glory in the valley. Fast forward 2008. My mother passes. All of a sudden, I'm 37 years old. I have three children. Three. My oldest daughter is getting ready to graduate. My mother went to visit her sister that she got word was dying, and my mother died. Why am I telling you this in your story?

She passed at 63, but when I unexpectedly lost her to a sudden death, I had to now rely on really and truly God to come in and guide me through the rest of the way of my life. Now, I'm not saying that when it first happened, it was easy. It wasn't. I went through a breaking stage. Again, too much for words on this platform. But let me say this as you speak of your daughter, okay?
