And while that is somewhat the case, the allegory is more a discussion of education and the thoughts. Theoretical education, namely ethics, geometry, higher mathematics, attempting to conceive a universe beyond the senses

Many people will say that are absolutely crazy. Many people will say that that doesn't sound real. Many people say that's a conspiracy and this is the real world. And they will stay chained to the cave by choice, by the illusion of choice, because they think that they know. And I think that there's a lot of value and play in this. And I think that this can be understood in a lot of various ways

But philosophy is incredibly dangerous to any hierarchy of power because the tools of philosophy are these ideas of critical analysis. And in that sophistry rhetoric, all these things that you can use to tear down fundamental principles without necessarily bringing a solution to the table. You're simply ripping into ideas like puppies is the term he's used. You're just a rabid dog going at ideas that already exist without bringing something new. And I think it's a very valid concern he expresses

Hey, man. Yeah, of course. I definitely would not attribute myself as being any way, shape or form, educated or informed on philosophy. I love exercising the mind and I love conversations that encourage that. Whether it's with friends, family or strangers alike, it's always just a fun muscle to work, to explore this experience, right?
