Negligence vs Reckless

article image placeholderUploaded by @BEAUTIFULSOULMI
20 year old young lady excited about having her baby boy, went to the emergency room, was assisted by OB doctor who has practiced more than 20 years, delayed a surgical procedure, and failed to seek help quickly when the baby's head got stuck. Instead of asking for help, she applied ridiculously excessive force on the baby's head and neck to try to continue the vaginal delivery. 3 hours passed before the OB physician took 20 year old for caesarean

#oh my goodness, this story made me cry.

You. Oh, my God. That made me cry. Just cry, cry, cry. That poor mother. That baby. When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was having such a hard time. We went in on Sunday. I didn't have my daughter till Tuesday. But the monitor two stopped beeping and I needed an emergency C section. But they had taken my water, bust my water about, I don't know, 18 hours later, they decided to do a Caesarean

Good afternoon, Miss Lady Phi. Yeah, I thought it was a pretty soul pulling, soul tugging story myself as I have had several miscarriages of my own. Very difficult, very difficult to read and to be 20 years old and to be the first baby, first pregnancy. And experiences create beliefs and so what a belief shaping experience for this couple, this 20 year old young lady. But yeah, I thought it was a pretty heartwarming topic

You have that authority because it's somebody's life in danger. So that's what I just can't understand, because I would have been like, what are you doing? Obviously this baby is breached. Obviously maneuvering is not the answer. Obviously she needs a C section. Sorry, I'm out. I'm going above you. I'm getting the next guy above because this is ridiculous, and you're going to kill this mother on this baby

And I was like, no. Done. And the malpractice insurance is expensive, and people are constantly suing. In this case, rightfully so, correct? So I wanted to emphasize that because I also get disgusted when people who are not in health care then make it seem like we people who work in health care just go to work with the intention to do harm. And that's not true

And like Lady Phi was saying, that she loved her unborn baby so much that she went through a Caesarean section with no anesthesia. I just couldn't imagine that. I just can't imagine this young lady, 20 year old, how she's feeling, how her emotions are all over the place at this time. But I'm going to follow the story, certainly to see how it plays out

Good morning, Ms. Ara. Yeah, it was a very unfortunate set of circumstances. My hearts and my prayers are going out to that family. You know, I just hope a supernatural embrace just embraces this young woman's mind and her heart. And if her hope in the future trying again, being able to trust again. But thanks for your reply. Bye

I went through that shit. This is real. This is not a damn story. This is my reality. This is perception and reality all at the same time. But yeah, I appreciate your reply in that plate that you just serve in this thread, it was certainly needed. Again, my heart goes out to that family and that young lady and assisting her with comfort and trusting in the future, physicians, healthcare providers, because again, our experiences create our beliefs. Thanks for your reply

And again, I have no children, so I can only speak from my experience. But I feel like at some point when giving birth, it goes into God's hands. And that's just my personal feeling, personal opinion. And I feel like it can go south real quick. But I think it had stated that she was trying to do this for 3 hours. That's like excessive. That's excessive. 1st, 2nd attempt didn't work. Okay, but 3 hours?
