STOP don’t call 911

article image placeholderUploaded by @BEAUTIFULSOULMI
But I guess in that type of situation, people are calling the 911 and kind of, I guess, constricting traffic, congesting the lines. Excuse me? Maybe I should say it that way. The lines were congested with calls that were non emergency, so it was trying to get them off the phone as quickly as possible so they could catch the calls for those who actually were injured that something actually fell on their leg and they can't move and they need assistance to get out

You. Yeah. Beautiful soul. Get off this line. You're holding up the traffic. We got to go. Bye. No, I'm just kidding. I did not know about three one one. Thank you for letting me know. I don't call 911 unless it's do or die. So thank you for this informative lesson on the one one ones and the nines and the threes us. And I definitely don't want to be cut off by a bitch. Thank you. Bye

Hi. Yeah, I'm responding to the awkward form about 911 and the alternative number. I think that's a very progressive idea that should have, you know, been in place a long time ago, because everything isn't an emergency that requires you to call 911 for police assistance, you know, and the lines do get tied up, but as far as an earthquake, earthquake, that's an act of God. So we just got to follow our precautionary tools and stop and get under something

So, yeah, I thought the article was pretty interesting and, yeah, the cut off game for the 911 operator, the award goes to those late these that were answering those calls, for sure. Thanks for your reply. Have a great Monday

Hi, beautiful soul here. Thanks so much for your reply to stop. Don't call 911, think first. So this was actually implemented during 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic where people were needing education about being quarantined. For example, I'm a single mom, I'm in the home by myself with a threeyearold and a sixyearold. How in fact do quarantine myself for my children, I have to cook for them, I have to help them go to the bathroom, things of this nature

They were doing what they needed to do to get to the root of what is needed and so on, while I was in my feelings, you could say, in the adrenaline or whatever. But this other instance was the only time that I noticed the difference. But then I thought about it. I don't know how they do it day in and day out, because that to me, requires a lot of compartmentalizing. And yeah, I think it would be a really difficult job

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I tell you what I did call center during the pandemic, and boy, the training in customer service was pretty eye opening. Feed forwarding was something that we were taught driving the call, meaning thinking about the future. What is the goal in mind for me today and as a 911 operator, is to help as many people in an urgent, life threatening situation as possible. So we want to eliminate as many calls that are not going to be prosperous to that goal

There job is difficult enough without having to deal with BS.

The area of the country I'm from, unless there's a fire or unless somebody's been shot, nobody's calling 911 and sometimes not at all. So it's very bizarre. I can only recall talking to 911 once when my brother shot himself in the leg with a 45. And I don't remember them being I mean, they seemed plenty nice. They're just straight to the point with the earthquake stuff. Yeah, I'd be mad, too

If you want me to go somewhere with you, it needs to be urgent care. We need to go now. Otherwise, it can wait until 08:00 A.m. Tomorrow. I am not about to sit in an emergency room and exposed myself to God knows what for hours just for them to triage you, assess you during that triage process, give you some tylenol and send you on some merry way. Now we don't wasted 7 hours of a shift with them and didn't get paid for
