Hi, swellcast community, beautiful soul here. And I came to speak, I wanted to share a cute little parable I heard earlier today on audiobook. And it was in regard to a little boy befriending an apple tree in the forest. It so completely summed up my hesitation in becoming acquainted and developing new friendships or regaining or rekindling old. And so this little boy befriends this beautiful, magnificently, large apple tree in the forest

So, yes, and also when you think from the tree's perspective, once a giver, always a giver. And so selflessly, that tree died, in a way, by his own friend. And again he sprouted back to life, ready to give to another friend. But I'm just hopeful that this friend, this new little baby who comes to befriend him, is grateful towards the apple tree. So, yes, this was a wonderful parable. And thank you for sharing. Keep swelling

I just finished it reading yesterday and it said that I'm paraphrasing, it said that love comes from many responses and sometimes that loving response is a no. So one should also know when to say no. And this is one conversation that we often don't have in our societies, in our talking circle
