This is still considered to be a great followup to Spiderman 2002, one factor being that this movie had better material to exploit than the first one. Toby Maguire is still a good spiderman. Alfred Molina was an excellent choice to play Otto Octavius or Dr. Octopus. The oneissue comic no more was used as the main inspiration for the film, with the emotional iconic moment of Peter Parker throwing his Spiderman suit into a trash can and walking away
