Unlearning Habits

Unlearning habits can be a challenging process because habits are deeply ingrained in our subconscious mind. They are automatic and effortless, and we often perform them without even realizing it. Breaking a habit requires conscious effort and is stain commitment to change. Additionally, our brain is wired to seek pleasure and avoid pain and habits often provide us with a sense of comfort and familiarity. Thus, when we try to break a habit, we may experience discomfort and resistance, which can make it difficult to persevere

And when you start and when you decide that, now I'm going to quit smoking, you'll soon realize how difficult it is. So, yeah, unlearning a habit is very difficult and it gives you certain sort of pleasure and you don't want to get rid of it. But obviously, as people have said, there are certain situations where you have to unlearn a particular habit for your own safety, for your own goodwill, and you should definitely work upon that
