Sophistication or Storytelling?

article image placeholderBio Sites — Link In Bio — Unfold
So I did some digging, and thanks to Google, I found this definition storytelling is the vivid description of ideas, beliefs, personal experiences and life lessons through stories or narratives that evoke powerful emotions and insights. Interesting. Now, it's also said that stories make it very easy for you to explain abstract concepts to people and to pass on your tacit knowledge to people. Things that you just know because of your sense making apparatus and things that you just know but cannot state explicitly, right?

You may have to elaborate for me what you mean by sophisticated language but I tend to lean towards what might be described as storytelling first I see stories every. You know. We tell ourselves will society will decide and tell us what it means to be a man. What it means to be a woman and then we internalize either some of those stories or we create our own narrative of what it means to be us

You could actually give a logic for why that pattern occurs, or you could simply describe that pattern in a story and thus presented as a reality, right? That's the whole point. Whether you use sophisticated language to explain reality or whether you use stories to present reality, the end goal is more or less the same, that you want to share your observations on reality

You know, to just sort of clarify further. For example, you say society tells you what it's like to be a man or a woman, right? And society usually tells that through storytelling. So when it comes to men, you told us stories of heroism, courage, taking initiative. And when it comes to women, you told stories of strength, resilience, emotional, toughness, and thus you're expected to spin some sort of a reality

I'm not sure. I think I'm going to have to listen to you talk in various conversations more to pick up on what you mean by sophisticated language with respect to abstractions. Because even when I'm admitted this is probably just because of the way my brain works, even when I'm doing abstractions, I'm creating imagery which is creating in itself stories
