Ain’t Hollywood Swell? - Mulan Goes Directly To Disney+...Is The Death Of Theaters On The Horizon?

Now, again, if you have a larger family, this isn't really a higher price. You're actually saving money. But you're not getting the theater experience. And I'm a big fan of the theater experience. So while I'm fine with this for the time being, I really hope to see the return of the cinema at some point. So I wanted to see what you think. Are you good with this?

Mulan, Disney+, Theaters, VOD, Covid-19

Not a chance.

Hey, average Joe, I've been thinking about this a lot, and my answer is that I would not pay the $30 for this. And I'll explain why. But you definitely touched on a number of the issues already for a large family. This is a bar bargain. You can have a family movie night at home for someone like myself. Definitely not a bargain. I'd be spending more to see a movie that arguably I don't really care about that much

Most of the time we've taken our oldest to the movie once and it was a bit fun. Let's to say that, but I love movies. I absolutely love going to the movies. I love the whole experience. So yeah, I really hope that it doesn't go anywhere

And we would just hit Regal and catch a couple of movies, go grab dinner, maybe go back later that night. And I saw a lot of films that I never would have paid to see, but it was worth it. It was just fantastic. And I don't think those kind of passes. I know AMC had one, too, and I don't imagine they're coming back anytime soon, even when theaters reopen

Consumer Media and Entertainment spend

Now, on the question of this, I've been fascinated with how media and entertainment companies are connecting with consumers with such limited choices, limited budgets, but still a demand for that entertainment. And you see it with there was a huge demand for Nintendo switches back in March and April. You couldn't find one anywhere in stores. You go on Ebay and spend two to three times what they were actually worth. So there still is a huge demand
