From having an own publishing company and teaching aspiring authors the best tips to write a book, to writing scripts for two Marathi movies which are under making. He is also a very firm supporter of women empowerment and gender equality which is reflected in his stories. A very warm welcome to Mr. Avinash Mehram. Good evening, sir. It's a great pleasure to host you here. Please tell us how have you been and how have your author's journey been?

@authordaman

So I tend to keep my novels realistic and I use whatever I have observed in these years around me to include in my stories. And I try to give some message from my stories, that is how I do it. So I started cooking up stories but I didn't know how to publish a book or who to approach and everything. And then life happened. I got busy in making career and everything. I was preparing for IIT as well so nothing came on paper

You're. This is great to know that you have sparked your interest in stories from the historical epics. I feel that the most amazing part of your stories is that realistic approach which you try to give in it. Your journey to become a novelist and author is quite inspiring. So I would like to ask, what has been your motivation or inspiration to write a romantic novel like Her Perfect Man? What the main theme and the message that the story conveys to the readers?

You. Thank you for your appreciation. Daman actually, I never planned to write romance fiction. I believe I was pulled into it because I am romantic at heart. So even though I read different genres, I was always pulled towards love stories. And whenever I wrote something like poems or something and I have written many poems or story short stories, stories and even love letters so they were all related to love. So I believe I was pulled into it means that genre chose me

How have the characters in the story been related to each other? And what have been the significance of adding complication of choice in a romantic novel?

They become friends on the very first day of fifth class. And they are friends since then. Then enters vikrant. Vikrant is a student in NIT. He is pursuing engineering. And Kawa's dream is to pursue engineering from an IIT. So she comes to Nakpur. They all study till 12th, till 10th in a village. And then they come to Nakpur. And Kawa joins some classes and Ritesh joins those classes only to drive her to the coaching institute

As you describe Kavia, I'm sure the story revolves around a girl being independent, self sufficient, who wants to adore herself and become perfect from within. The way you try to express the crush of around three boys on the same girl is quite appreciable. I mean, it takes a quench of thought to add such a spice to a romantic novel. So, sir, how has Kavia's life been affected in the story? I mean, how have her choices defined her life?

@authordaman

So I needed to have three good people who are worthy of love. And do you know that Vikrant Vikrant has zero dialogues in the entire story? He is an invisible guy in that story but he is also a very important character. And the one please call me Avinash. I like my name more so I prefer to be called Avinash rather than being called sir. At one point Kawa chooses one of these three guys and all three guys are good on the surface

I agree. As in today's generation, you know, vibing and breaking up is more preferred rather than having a spiritual kind of love. Though your books are definitely a source of empowering women as they spread the virtues of equality and freedom in the society. I would really be pleased to know that. What do you think? A woman is described and treated in a male dominant society team? And what if you have been given the power to change this male dominant society into an idealistic society?

@authordaman

According to me, if a girl devotes herself to the guy because she loves him and she agrees to everything he wants then that is not love for me. Or if the guy accepts similar things from the girls then again that is not love for me. There is a very famous phrase betty Bachao betty para sorry? Betty Parao. Betty Bachao educate the girl girl and save the girl or educate the girl to save the girl. I believe that is wrong. That phrase itself is wrong

QUESTION

Because wherever we are moving around so to a smaller number of people, probably in a gathering or something, we come to know about the respect that they give. Is it through their heart or just for the sake of speech? So what is your suggestion in that? Because you have written your novel and it could have reached all your novels would have reached many people, many hearts and you would have got great comments. So I just wanted to know this
@avinashmeshram

@PSPV

Even you can see it as their grief or sorry, as their greed. That if the wife of my means, let us say the guy thinks that if my wife is also working, then it would help me financially. So you can see it as a greed or as a respect to a woman that he is looking for a girl who is equivalent to him or who can walk shoulder to shoulder to him. So things can be different. The views can differ from person to person

Good evening Avinash. Very interesting narration you have given about the book. So first of all, congratulations for the beautiful novel and the beautiful narration you have summarized in your nice awards. The story was just moving in front. I could correlate. And being a romantic novel, obviously romance is also there and different different aspects are also there. And you have chosen three male characters and a one female character for the novel

And if they both are stuck that I do not want to leave my job and they would get married and the girl would be working in Kanyakumari, guy would be working in Delhi and they would have a long distance relationship. And love won't strive. To be loved. To be cared, we first need to be together. And to be together we sometimes need to make compromises. The question is not whether she should choose love or she should choose her career

Actually the male partner do not have any right to allow the significant other to do anything what she loves. Yes. After all, women deserve their own personal space, their personal opinions, their personal time. So, before we conclude, I would like to thank you for sparing your valuable time, for sharing your experiences and as well as providing insights about your book. I'm really very grateful to you for being a wonderful guest here. This has indeed been a great evening
