@authordaman My journey as an author and my driving force for writing.

You. Hello, damon Treat. And first of all, thanks for having me on this webcast to say about my journey as an author. It began with my very first book named God Bless You, Devil Kiss You, which is a cross genre anthology of short stories with three predominant genres fantasy, action and romance. My second book was what the heaven? Which was a collection of poetry that has recently been nominated for the 21st Century Emily Dickinson Award, like you just said

That's really interesting luna how you turned into a writer from just a keen reader. And you know the best part I found out of this is how you adored and explode yourself as a writer. Like this is really great thing to take up and trust in something new, some new hobbies. The book what the Heaven is for all those who feel poetry even in faraway echo, it is a ferocious yet tender collection of your poetry as you describe it

@authordaman

Yes, as you mentioned, what the Heaven primarily deals with self love, self discovery and self acceptance of an individual. And apart from that, this book is also the result of my exploration over the years to understand the importance of the balance between the two extremes darkness and light, and how they are irrevocably connected to each other. And not just that. Moreover, what the Heaven deals with embracing the Trinity of the Divine Feminine

So as you mentioned, that the book embraces all those divine women who goes unnoticed and unappreciated in this male world. So how does it relates to feminist perspective and contribute to women empowerment? How does your book add up to empowering women?

@authordaman

Ah, yes. I must say that what the heaven is closely related to feminist perspectives and it does contribute to women empowerment, since every piece of poetry in the book express and represents a different stage of a woman's life. The trinity of the divine feminine stands encompassing the maiden, the mother and the crone. The book is a tribute to celebrate all women, basically sisters, mothers, authors who otherwise goes unnoticed and unappreciated in the world of men due to the prevailing patriarchy

And sometimes someone's footstep, even when the rain shatters on the roof, everything thing feels so poetic. I like writing whenever I think of something like this. So what are your thoughts on dwelling in the ream of words?

@authordaman

I've always been a person who would eagerly learn new words and treasure them in my mind. And in the book. What the heaven? Especially I did explore a lot of different ways that I can play with words. So that's the reason I mentioned in the book that these poems contain no fixed meter, rhyme or alliteration, and no poetic devices. And they're only meant for me and you, but not for most people

Additionally, you can also mention that what makes that particular piece of poetry meaningful to you? I mean, any incident or some experience which is related to that stanza or that poetry

@authordaman

So the poem goes like this black nights becoming pale and stark, bright days becoming unkind and dark either too cold or too hot. The memories of a fairy heart beware her lightning and thunder for she can break you asunder unbecoming in the NEVERLASTING travel, letting her past, present and future unravel. A mad woman in the realm desperate to fight an illusion too desperate with the soul of a seeker. She is revolution with the heart of a killer

@authordaman

Ah, thank you so much for your kind words, Dharman. The pleasure is all mine. Thank you so much for hosting me in this well cast. Thanks for your wishes, and I wish you the same since you are a writer too. I wish you success with your writing. And coming back to the last question, I do not consider myself as a pro who can give advice for others. But what I can give is maybe some friendly words of optimism to fellow writers and aspiring ones
