You definitely took your advice to heart, was very honest with my current job right now about certain things and also matters of the heart. This one's going to be a little bit more challenging because I was really honest with this person at one point and got shot down. We're still really good friends. But, yeah, I will definitely try again because I do agree with you. It's better to be your authentic self than not. So, yeah, I will definitely take this to heart

And maybe that person is just waiting for you to kind of like throw your hat back in the ring and then they're going to fully grab a hold and be like, yes. I've been waiting for you to say this.
