It could be the ways that people treat us in connections, in relationships, or in experiences that we have in this life that are meant to teach us. Sometimes they wound us on such a deep level that we end up placing regret on ourselves. And we carry that regret. And then that wound begins to expand so that we can heal it. But in that expansion process, we attract more people, more circumstances, more experiences that cause deeper grit, deeper regret, and deeper hurt
