Polical leaders have to respected and critiqed

And imagine the power that comes into you especially when you have a problem, economic, financial problem. You see this ten lakh. Suddenly there's a power which gets pummeled into you from somewhere. So it's something like that. So that is something where in terms of politicians the politicians derive the power from the support of the people. There's a great book by Joey Saramego on this on how collecting wills from people and fueling imaginary aircraft with the will of the people. It's a beautiful book

It's absolutely absurd for me. So the point drawn here is that the point drawn here is how much are we talking in the context of the entire country and how much are our choices aligned from the perspective of the country and not from the perspective of which community I belong to? And I think that will choose and filter out the right gentry and spectrum of people. Also, one of the basic fallacies of democracy is unanimity of purpose

As long the difference of opinion survives. It is easy to play around with with the people. And we accept playing around with because we are the ones who have chosen that kind of people. It's a cyclic process and we are accepting that somehow we are not defining what we want for ourselves as a country. How long are we going to continue being an emerging country? We have gone way past that scale long time ago
