Why do people blame religion
So religion is kind of used as something as a prop which God uses to control human beings and something which human beings use to control other human beings. That's how they look at religion. They don't understand. Religion is a tapestry of stories. It's got amazing stories. Whatever religion you take, it's got amazing stories from which we can draw a lot of sense in life. You don't understand. The second thing, which is almost a fashion statement, is I am not religious

If you don't like the word divine, substitute it with another word like karma or God or the universe, if it's more palatable that way. But there is an essence, a power far beyond our understanding that is in all of us. We cannot deny God any more than we can deny ourselves
