Overconsuming

article image placeholderUploaded by @ashleycobb
There are some pieces that I will keep long term, but the majority of my things, within a year, end up in trash bags. I give them away to my friends or just drop them off in one of those beautiful yellow boxes. Where the things go, I have no idea, but I know it's out my house. So in learning about how to reduce my carbon footprint through fashion, I've learned a lot about being sustainable

Am I the only overconsumer here?

And from that day onwards, I started donating away whatever excess I had. And I don't know how what happened on how I came to this perspective that minimalistic living was the best thing to do. And I did turn minimalistic. So today I think I don't have too many possessions. And if you look at the clothes, I think I don't have too many. Have just about seven to eight formal dresses. That's it. And a couple of casual ones. That's it

It. Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat, I think, but from a different angle. Over consuming. I don't know that I spend a ton of money on stuff, I think. But what I do think is I think I what's a household thing? It's not just me. I'm trying to declutter in general and stop over consuming. Media is a big thing and in general produce more than I consume in general or use more than I consume
