Meditation session 1

Meditation? Meditation is widely used these days. I have seen people are doing various courses for meditation but before going into it, let's understand what do we mean by meditation? In a day, we have various thoughts, right? We have important thoughts, that is conscious thoughts like what are the day to day activities we need to carry? We have some other thoughts also that are always behind our mind. Mainly those thoughts are related to our near and dear ones

If there was a way to sort of harness these thoughts and have control over them rather than letting them have control over us, that would be great. And I think meditation is definitely one way to go about it because a lot of people have reaped really significant benefits from meditation. Although I have a question that is every time I have tried to meditate, it has been really hard for me. Okay. Just the fact that in order to meditation, you need to hush out those thoughts

Even sometimes it may happen that when you sit in silence, some happiness, some moments or some joy which you may feel at that moment, maybe something that may strike your mind at that point and you feel that joy within. So these are all heights of emotions, both even anger. Maybe a particular event may come up in your mind at that time and you feel very angry about that situation or maybe about a particular person who was an actor of that situation

Your soul, your energy, it's coming out of your body and flying high in the sky, going up above. And there we meet our God. So it may be any image with whom you feel connected. So for me, I take that image as Shiv Shakti. So I visualize in that manner that I am flying high and meeting my God, my Shiv, and as if the whole energy of the universe is concentrated there

So after I come back to my body from it means when I come back to my conscious mind after spending some time with the Shakti, with the supreme soul, you may call it God. So when I come back, spread that energy to my mind, to my whole body and feel energized. It is a very good start to practice meditation initially in this manner. And you will feel, you will feel recharged and it will be more effective if you practice this before going to sleep
