There are going to be spoilers, obviously, but I would like to narrate a little bit from the review itself from the POV, starting with the POV of DiCaprio, because he's obviously a compelling actor. And his character is also very well written here. And actually, Scorsese has written all the characters really well. And that is why the departed still remains his only personal win, as I think he won it for original screenplay, if I'm not wrong

All right. In the last recording, we have established why the departed is amazing, et cetera. Set in Boston, it is loosely based on some real characters, real mafia characters, et cetera. And yes. So to briefly share the overview, the line is there is this major Mafia dawn, irish mafia, Jack Nicholson. There is Matt Damon, who know right from childhood he is being sponsored by Jack Nicholson. And Matt Damon happens to be the reverend's son
