Am I a real artist?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Artisan-Preneur
And so now my dilemma is, can I call myself a digital artist? Right? Can I call myself an AI artist? Even though I did not create these pieces with my own hand, I created them with my words, because they're all based off of my poetry. Not a Segue, but kind of like an extension of this issue, is I can't trademark any of my pictures or copyright any of the pictures that are generated because they art generated by a machine and not a human

During a break from painting, I fell in love with AI generated artwork but now Im wondering if i’m a real digital artist…🤷🏾‍♀️

I don't think there's anything more artist than doing what you do, which is gosh. Yeah. Just your whole process, the way you leave things into each other. And I'm sure you've heard, like, nothing and art is original. Everything is like a copy influenced by one or the other. There are no original ideas. I don't know what the quote is, but to me, there's just, like, reconfigurations of them

So this is fairly new to me, but I definitely connected, like I said, with the collage analogy. And I feel a little bit better, a little more confident about saying I am an AI artist and what I create is at the intersection of digital art or AI art and written art, such as poetry and creative writing. So, yeah, I feel a little bit more confident about saying that I am an AI artist

And I do see kind of like a resemblance between that connection between the digital art and your acrylic resin art because there's such a dreamy quality to it, but also very uncanny and, like, how real it feels as well. But, yeah, thanks for sharing all of that
