Forgotten Films: The Cruel Sea (directed by Charles Frend and starring Jack Hawkins and Donald Sinden)
But if you want a good, authentic kind of war movie that does away with all the raw heroism and it's just more of a gritty, realistic look at war at sea. Was like, I really can't recommend this one enough. Give it a shot. It is black and white. It is very british, but I think you'd enjoy it. Thanks. Let me know what you think
