Fed hikes rates. Powell keeps options open
Remember here that the last Fed policy, the Fed pushed up US. GDP growth and pushed down unemployment, pushed up inflation, reflecting that the US. Is actually doing very well and is fairly strong. It can withstand whatever rate hikes the Fed has been delivering. That has been the consistent messaging from the Federal Reserve, from Powell all through the last few months. Now, the next question is what are the markets pricing on the Fed?
