Eric Satie and Gnossiennes

article image placeholderPortrait of Erik Satie
So it kind of just shows how regretful the pieces, if that makes sense. Like, very upsetting, very depressing kind of very dormant. But anyways, I want to look at other sheet music of classical music pieces that I like, for instance, by Tchaikovsky and see what kind of emotion the composer wants the player to mirror. I just think it's really interesting to know exactly what they kind of want you to think about

Here’s a link if you want to listen! https://s.swell.life/SSd0g8JgvquiP7m Also I pronounced gymnopédie AND Satie wrong whoops I’m sorry

I love it. And I can kind of hear the green sound, too. Like the way you're describing it. I like when you explain it with colors because then I can try and imagine the color and then it makes it sound better somehow. Please keep doing that. And you should share more of your classical music favorites and explain them in color and talk about them because I like hearing you talk about them, and I want to find more music. Thank you. Bye

Oh, my God, you're so cute. Oh, my God. So appreciative of my little swells that I do. I completely understand what you're saying about, like, the violin and not, like, paying attention to the musical terms. That was me with piano when I took lessons. I don't know why. When someone makes you do something, you don't want to do it
