On the other side of the pool, someone jumped in, hopefully to save me. They were swimming across the pool and all of a sudden they stopped and they turned around and they swam back out of the pool in the other direction. I was all alone on the bottom. I was trying like hell to hold my breath as long as I could. I could in desperate hope someone would rescue me. But there was only silence. I was alone

This is a vivid dream I had in high school. The emotional significance still mystifies me

Oh, I really wanted to hear the end of that. You can always reply to your own post and just keep talking and do that for as long as you need. But I love dreams. I love hearing other people's dreams. And yeah, there are these ones. I also have some from my childhood, like dreams that just feel like they are important somehow. Like they're some sort of guide or key to unlocking something within ourselves

My whole life had, like I said, incredibly vivid, strange, scary dreams. The only thing that stopped that from happening was sleep medication. It's been a long time. It's been a while since I've had any dreams like that. And I'm okay with that. I'd rather sleep
