A sport I used to enjoy, but have not played in a while...

You have to read the greens because they're not just straight flat. Sometimes the way they're built, there would be maybe a slight curve around the whole. So you've got a, you know, it's kind of like a puzzle. You got to figure it out. There's a lot of strategy there. And that was my strongest part of the game, but I really enjoyed it. And my husband and I would play with different groups of people, mainly men at that time

And I really, really have come to value all different kinds of sports. And I feel so bad because I used to be a little bit judgmental of golf due to the men you are discussing, because that was primarily my experience with. It was like old, cranky men and with fragile egos most of the time, which is very unfortunate, but those exist everywhere. And it's so lovely to step outside of that and then just embrace it, because that's what we want to do

Usually it's with a friend or a mentor, and it just so happens to be something we do. But I'm not at a level where I'll go out to a driving range and hit balls by myself, for instance. But I definitely do love to hit some golf balls from time to time. Not the best, much like your buddy slice, probably, but everyone starts somewhere, right? So, anyway, happy golfing
