And we mainly play rush music because it's challenging and we need that challenge. It just feeds our soul. But for non musicians, it's hard to understand that. I've had non musicians tell me that they don't understand our attachment to music. It's a constant in our life. It's in our heads. We are constantly playing music. We're constantly listening to other musicians and studying from other musicians and learning new techniques

But I love this. This exercise that you showed your class. I think it's so fantastic, and it. And it really clarifies things. Clarifies the role of music. Talking about how you always had music playing softly in the background reminds me of a teacher who did the same. And I loved it. I thought it was like it made class so much more doable, so much more bearable to have soundtrack going along to it
