article image placeholderUploaded by @anya08
Hey, guys. My name is Anyasuth, and I will be your host for today. We all make mistakes, some bigger than others. But none of us are perfect, right? We are all just humans. While the concept of cybercrime may not be a new one for us, since we've been taught better in our schools, what about the senior citizens of our community? They have no clue about the dangers of the Internet. The hackers, the scammers, the catfishers they believe it all

Imagine loosing 16 lakh rupees over 1 call, just like that..and gone! That's what happened to this 69 year old man #cybercrime #theinternetisdangerous

Hello, Anya. This is really sad news. And what happened with the man was terrible. He was clearly unaware about the Internet risks and didn't know what he was getting himself into. There are people our age who still are aware of these threats and risks, but senior citizens are new to this, so I think there should be more awareness spread for the same. And people in their house, especially if they're younger, should warned them about this

But first of all, we have to know about who are cyber predators. They are the people who use the internet and exploit or harm others, especially children and teens. They may try to lure them, blackmail them. To protect ourselves from cyber predators we can follow some of the tips like we can set our social media pages to private and use a screen name instead of your real name
