Well, I probably liked his advice back then, but now I'm looking at it as that's really terrible advice. I mean, have we gotten so entitled or spoiled that we don't even consider a simple road trip a chance to get away, a chance to see someplace different? We don't consider it a vacation unless you spent thousands upon thousands of dollars and you come back with passport stamps and you need a language interpreter to help you figure out what the locals are saying
