Let’s chat about a follow-up visit with my Doctor

You only bring them out on the weekends, but, yeah, these parts have been working a long time, so I'm thankful for the more frequent visits. But I'm happy to report that I'm 14 pounds down since January. I did need to lose some weight, and, um, it's coming off, not just the weight, but probably inches. And just

Mine came from emotional eating and poor diet and being sedentary, because I sit all day except when I get up and go work out and do things around the house and run errands and stuff. And so I had to find ways to start moving more and adjusting. My diet has helped tremendously because I had gained a significant amount of weight, and I was blaming it on everything age. I was blaming it on having a sit down job, blaming it on working at home

And even when I told my doctor that, of course, she saw my readings on the scale, she was like, wow, that's a lot. And I've always told people that because sometimes people think you got to lose half your body weight or, you know, it's impossible. It's really

I was talking to my brother about, you know, weight loss and everything, and, you know, like he said, you know, stop. Don't focus on the number. I was so obsessed with the number on the scale that I used to weigh several times a day. What stopped me from doing it was because I looked at my child one day, and they got up and they went straight for the scale. They kept getting on the scale

And, of course, when you eat less, your belly does literally shrink, so you don't have room to take in the food that you want to did. But I just was like, I'm looking at the menu like, I don't want none of this stuff. But we were talking about the scale. She said she has not gotten on the scale in years. And when she gets on at the doctor, she gets on backwards and she says, don't tell me the number

And then I got on there, and three pounds were gone, and I was like, okay, well, this surprised me, you know, and then sometimes we gotta think our bodies change because especially time of the month, even though I don't have it, I have a IUD, I still bloat, so I have to think about that. And then some of the foods that we eat, you know, sometimes we dehydrate. Our body hangs on

Strength, Sustenance, and Stress Release need to work together—but not for numbers; for your physical, mental, and emotional health.

Being able to run, at least when you're halfway across the street and the light turns red. But strength in always like that. And then sustenance. The food that you intake, you know, you want to make sure that you're getting the right foods in there that create vitamins and carotene and all the things that your body needs to function correctly. And the biggest thing I've said this before is stress

And the word weight itself, the w a I t, I think a lot of people are, you know, trying to wait to actually make a move or do something different in their lives. So I think it all interplays definitely with that physical weight. I love that you also have incorporated, you know, alternative treatments, your healthcare

So I hope that's encouraging the people, if they have a lot of weight, to lose. Listen, 510, 15 pounds really makes a difference. And it's a good way to get started on the journey. So there's nothing to, no weight loss, just too small for someone that's on that, a journey to get more healthy. So thank you so much. And yes, I believe healthcare has also become more about medicine than anything else. And I don't like that
