Like on game shows, they win cars and stuff and they talk about how you win the car, but you still have to pay the taxes on that car before you can receive it. I know with some of these prizes you have to pay some things before you can actually receive it. Whether it's the taxes or whether it's the shipping or something, you have to pay some things. It's like it's not completely free. You still have to pay some things to get it

Well, we didn't win nothing, but neither did like, the whole stadium. The only lady that won anything was she won like, a $600 prize. She's the only one that walked out of there with anything because they didn't do it, like the regular prices, right

It? Short answer no. But I thought I was close. So I used to have this video game magazine subscription and within the subscription they had these little puzzles. They said if you complete this puzzle you have the chance to win, blah, blah, blah. So I did it, sent it in and they said Good, you're almost there. And then they gave me some more puzzles and stuff and I sent it in and I think they gave me like a little souvenir

So I'm glad you received at least your consolation prize for the effort you put in, because most people probably wouldn't even apply. Like I said in the original swell, even if you do win, a lot of these things come with there's always ulterior motives, fine print, right? Even just know most businesses is have these contests just to get your email and then they sell your email, because most of us don't check the boxes, right?

Hey, y'all. So listening to the replies, god brought back something to my remembrance of one time that I did win something. But let me tell you the story. So this wasn't a national sweepstakes or international you know, when you send your name in and there's literally thousands of entries. However, there was a local real estate agent who was running be. She actually had like a rally to help people become first time home buyers

When someone's like, they'll say Anne and I'm like, It's me, but my name is not um or they'll go, I mean, I get it. When they're like, Anne, the last name is and then I'm like, It's me. So I know that feeling. I also know the feeling of when someone says my name right the first time and they're like, Angela. And I'm like, Holy smokes
Oh, my goodness, I feel the same way. I'm never going to win this. Why enter it also? What do they want in order for me to enter this? Because inevitably it's like we're giving away private information or some information they could use in some way. And I'm like, do I really want to do that?
