So is there any, you know, suggestions or remedy that you can give us? That how to improve one's voice and what to do when there is a sore throat and you just feel that you can't even speak, forget even singing. Thank you so much and I wish you all the best, sir

@kadambarigupta

So that is, like, preparation for your performance. But in case you do happen to have a sore throat on the same day of your performance, I would definitely suggest some warm water honey to just soothe it a little bit. But in case it's too sore, I wouldn't suggest you doing or going ahead with that performance, because, after all, you may end up damaging your vocal cord, and that's very bad on the long run. So, yeah, your health first

Hi Anisha. Thank you so much for inviting such an adorable guest. I would say hi Sargon and I hope you are doing great. I've been keep looking forward to your series unskippable songs or something. I actually like this part on your Instagram profile and I just want to ask how does it feel to work on your dream to work what you love? It actually inspires a lot of people. Not everyone has the courage to work what they love. So just tell me your story

@gungunbansal_

Hi Gungun. Thank you so much for following me on Instagram and I'm glad we are having this conversation here and thank you for asking this question. So this actually question, the answer to this is very close to my heart. I have been a music for a very long time now, almost 1213 years. And I know the struggles of how an artist, you know, create something very creative of their own and then tries to promote it and reach out to a larger audience

@sagarkari

Welcome on swell. Mr. Sagar. Karikar, my first question to you is, can you tell us about the process involved in highlighting new artists and how you feature them on your page?
@sagarkari
Sagar Kari

@anisharodrigues

I have been listening to a lot of new music, new artists, for a very long time and have been pushing them through my social media for a very long time as well. But it's just that very lately a lot of people have connected with the type of content that I've started posting. And yeah, I'm really glad that these new artists are getting more views and teach on their songs, getting discovered through my channel and my Instagram. So the process is very organic

@sagarkari

That's really interesting. Sagar, in this day and age, where music can be anything, how do you choose fresh, calm and soothing music for your playlist?
@sagarkari
Sagar Kari
@sagarkari · 1:13

@anisharodrigues

And yes, it still remains subjective to everyone. Just that whatever I'm curating right now has been liked by the masses and I'm glad that the music taste is resonating with each other. Yeah

@sagarkari

Thank you, Saga, for that. I truly get it when you say that music is most definitely played according to the mood or according to what sort of activity we're doing in the present. So my next question to you is, can you tell us a little bit about Unskippable song series in detail?
@sagarkari
Sagar Kari
@sagarkari · 0:47

@anisharodrigues

These are actually unskippable and they connect to you because of it's composed or who's sang it or just the beauty of it. So some of my favorites in this category are the first one that I did was Irade by Habdul Hanan. The other one was Chulo by the local Train. Then there is Tehra Bin by Zaydan. So these are some of the unscapable songs that I've posted recently

A very good afternoon, sir. As you are singer, musician, as well as a producer, I have a very genuine question to you. Like why we are not getting those soulful music, soulful songs that we had in our ninety s, twenty s era? And for you, what's more important? Lyrics or just music? Thank you
@sagarkari
Sagar Kari
@sagarkari · 1:21

@Smitazzz

In a way, it's a good thing. And also where you can yes. Feel like missing out. The old classic stuff. But the reason is just the industry being a little cluttered because of the accessibility. Yes. But yeah, we have to move forward with how the technology is moving and also be glad that everyone who is talented and who's trying gets to show his work out. Because of the Internet. Yes

@sagarkari

Have heard your unscapable songs on those reels, and I think I heard one of your playlist as well. And I can tell you that is really soothing to listen to. My next question to you is what is your criteria for choosing new artists? Is it based on their genre or the kind of followers they have?
@sagarkari
Sagar Kari
@sagarkari · 0:51

@anisharodrigues

So I've tried to keep this as human as possible, wherein people can actually DM me or WhatsApp, call or email me if they want to reach out and show me their songs or albums where I can listen to them, give them feedback and discuss about what can be done and how good the tracks are. So there is no criteria as such
@anisharodrigues

@sagarkari

That's awesome sagar. That means that any new budding artist can come up to you, talk to you and get featured. And that's a wonderful way for new artists to come up in the limelight and get the attention they deserve. My next question to you is, what do you think is a key factor for a good playlist?
@sagarkari
Sagar Kari
@sagarkari · 1:01

@anisharodrigues

It has to be nice and pop and energetic and there are no mellow songs or easy songs or chill songs in there, so I will not keep any random track there because I don't want to break that chain of my energy. Similarly, Something In My Bedside Playlist, I will not keep anything really loud and energetic because I want to follow the vibe. So, yeah, that's one most important aspect here

@sagarkari

I think I learned a thing or a two about a playlist because I always wonder why my mood either elevates just way too high or it just goes and it depresses. And I think I learned the key to create a new playlist at this point. So my next question to you is, through your perspective, what do you think is the future of the music industry?
@sagarkari
Sagar Kari
@sagarkari · 0:53

@anisharodrigues

So I think I answered a similar question earlier in this swell that because of social media and internet accessibility, a lot of upcoming new talents have got the access to showcase their work very easily. That is the next thing. I think independent artists are going to come up a lot in lot of numbers and they're going to showcase their work. People are going to love it and they're going to connect one on one with the audience
@anisharodrigues
Anisha Rodrigues

@sagarkari

That definitely does give me the hope for the future. My final question to you is what would your message be to aspiring artists and musicians?
@sagarkari
Sagar Kari
@sagarkari · 0:41

@anisharodrigues

To the aspiring artists and musicians, I would like to say don't overthink show out your work. Do more. The more you show your work to the audience, the more eyeballs you're going to get, the more people are going to see your work and appreciate it and just do it rigorously. Even if you have any feedback coming through your way, don't think about it, just keep going. But before posting or before showcasing your work, just don't think, just do it

Like, how come you came into this field of composing music and what were the challenges that you faced, and what would be your advice for young artists who are trying to pursue their respective arts as a career? Like, be it music or be it sketching, like I do?
