How Much Does Our "Lived Experiences" Shape Our Decisions?
So one thing that the very first chapter of The Psychology of Money talks about is how all the decisions we make about money is because of our lived experiences and nothing more. And that got me thinking that our lived experiences not only makes us take money decisions, it also makes us take decisions about everything else. And it is because of the life that we have lived and because of the time that we were born that we think the way we do

A very warm good morning. It is such a nice thing to talk that how much does our live experience shape our decisions? Our lived experiences creates really an impactful view really lives an impactful footprint over our decisions. Because when we are on the way of making any decision these experiences help us to take to understand what is right and what is wrong then only the decision will be fruitful

So it's a slightly broader way to look at it rather than just the lived experiences. A lot of times, I think we make decisions based on what we see from others around us. And most often, I think we make decisions and then rationalize it of why you have taken that decision. That's my take on it. I hope you understand my point of view. Thank you and have a great day. Thank you. Bye

So I think the world has moved from being this collective, having a collective view of things and sort of enforcing that now, being able to let individuals live their lives the way they want to. And that is why there is a support also from the families and not to mention that that could be the only reason, but you see that by and large people are much more open because I remember when I was studying, there were just two career options, right?

When you make decisions which is not from your comfort zone, and you end up not really succeeding, then that also is part of your learning and go beyond it. So this is a different way to look at it. So I hope you understand my point of view. Thank you

How our teams are doing it today and really if I need to change my life experiences I have to be in the company of young people. Among students. Among graduates so that I can understand what they are thinking and how they are taking life as it comes. So yes, it is a mixture of parents outside the environment, how the country is evolving that leads to a proper decision. So thank you and take care

So for me, religion should be only like, I know I'm talking a lot about religion because that's what is going on right now in my life. And it's like I'm more like realizing things that way. So that's why I'm just putting it as an example. So bear with me with that too. So for me, that being a good person, being a kind person and humility and being empathetic, that's what matters
So that's where our perspectives are shaped and how we see things is obviously very important to the philosopher. How meaning is created is very important to the philosopher. Anyway, I'm drifting towards something which is very technical. That's not the point. So yes, lived experience, lived experiences that shape our perspective on how we regard things. So I have an example I've stated quite often on Swell and because it is a lived experience, I'll share it here as well

Obviously I would be telling my younger self to not to do these things or etc because I have lived these experiences and I know what would be the outcome, how the things went and not I would really suggest my siblings, my smaller younger siblings to not do these things because I'm seeing these things within experience. Yeah so this is it. I really appreciate your voice for coming up with this podcast
I really would love to talk to all of you one on one and discuss all the things and all the stuff that goes on in my head. Because life is interesting and the more you talk to people, people about life, the more interesting theories and more interesting perspectives come up. So once again, I would really, really like to thank everybody for taking the time out to reply to this podcast. See you all soon. Have a happy, happy Sunday. Bye
