And so it seems like sometimes that it seems like they think that they're a notch above those of us who did not have that testimony. But like you said, somebody out there is going to be able to resonate with our life story. Our life story is going to be able to speak to someone out there who may not have grown up in a Christian home, who may not have lived a life of being married to the church

You didn't depart from the things you were trained up learning in the church. You came back into fellowship with God and now you're planted. And so we all have different paths. I find myself preferring to hear the testimonies of those that were atheists, those that were witches, and those that were into drugs and alcohol and violence and crime. I prefer to hear those testimonies because I can better identify with that stuff

And then I had to remind myself, if he had really wanted to say it was about you, he would have said it was about you. What's not directed is not respected. And so don't worry about it. He was making a generalization. You got hit. So, dog, you barked, but why did you bark? And again, it goes back to that inner journey. It goes back to your inner self, and we have to take accountability for that

I see a wife reading that, and their marriage is going to be solid because he was truly addressing both points. Now, I was looking at it from as a woman, as a divorced woman, I was looking at it only from that side of women do this and women do that. And Kevin was like, no they don't. And he was speaking truth and people were not listening to him. So not sure how I got on his subject, but yes, hit dog, wahala. But then there are times and I guess maybe we're healed in one area but not in another, right? Or is there something that could trigger us? Right? Like I might be triggered by cancer? Because my sister just died recently of cancer

So I try not to really drink like that for a number of reasons, but it's not to say that I don't drink at all, but I really try to cut down and keep it to if I'm on vacation or if there's a celebration going on, I'm out of town. So that's really what I've been trying to do, like the last two years or so
