I had a lot of different feelings about getting these Ancestry hits. Plus, there were like a whole bunch of second and third cousins. So I began looking up people on Facebook and trying to research and see who they were. For my brother, it said that he was a close relative, but it didn't list what kind of relative. So I went to the Ancestry DNA group that I was on Facebook, and they had posted in there what the CM numbers meant as far as relationships

And then that Sunday, we had a video call with my children and my sister's children, and one of my brothers got on, and it was wonderful. My kids kept looking at me and my sister like, you all look alike. I can tell you all sisters. We've never been able to do that. We've never been able to look at somebody and be like, that's our mama's family. We've never been able to do that
