Healing to heal - don’t forget the people who have gone on!!! You stand on fhe foundation they laid!!
And so I went today because again, my dad this was like the last major event that the church had that my father attended before he got really sick and ended up dying was family day. It was the fourth Sunday in september 2013. That was the last time that he was really up and active and moving around and being himself at church. And so I went this Sunday with my stepmother, and it offended me. It hurt my feelings. It frustrated me that no one made mention of my dad

And so when the service was just about over, I did ask if I could say something, and I asked if everyone could stand and have a moment of silence from my dad, because, like I said, it'll be ten years in November that he has passed away. And so my pastor asked me because I was telling my pastor, like, you'd have been proud of me. I didn't go off

I think what you did was wonderful, and I think that your dad would be proud to know that you did it. I love the way you talk about, you know, you guys experience together and even the ones that you might have felt slighted by and getting your freedom to a degree after the passing. But I love to come and hear these stories, but I'm glad that you also have an outlet. Thank you for sharing
